Pro Loco Pratola Peligna was one of the most challenging projects I’ve worked on so far.
During my year as a Universal Civil Service volunteer (2020–21), I set out to modernize the association’s online presence. The existing website was outdated and not mobile-friendly, so I focused on a full redesign. Since the domain and hosting were already active, I started by downloading a backup of the old site and then rebuilt it with a modern, easy-to-navigate structure.
Together with my colleagues, I carried out extensive cataloging and content selection, with the goal of showcasing the association’s history and, above all, the many events it had organized.
I also created a dedicated section for projects completed by former volunteers, ensuring valuable research would remain accessible instead of being forgotten. Additional pages highlighted the services offered and news, which were regularly shared on the association’s social media channels.
Unfortunately, the site is no longer online, but it can still be viewed at the following link (I didn’t manage to create the much-needed backup in time): https://web.archive.org/web/20210918040237/https://www.prolocopratola.com/
